Stress-Free Curl Care On the Go with Our Little Curls Products

Travelling with curly-haired little ones? Whether you’re off to the beach, exploring a new city, or visiting family, caring for your child’s curls on the move can feel daunting. We have everything you need with our Little Curls products  — a lightweight curl-friendly range designed to keep those ringlets soft, shiny, and tangle-free wherever you go.

Here’s our essential guide to keeping little curls happy and healthy while you’re away from home:

1. Pack the right curly essentials.
2. Stick to a simple routine.
3. Protect your little one's curls from the elements.
4. Take care of your children's curls in between wash days.
5. Embrace the wild curls!

1. Pack the right curly essentials.

Don’t rely on hotel shampoos or whatever’s on hand — curly hair needs special care. Our Little Curls Starter Pack contains 100ml travel-friendly bottles of the full set:

Each formula is lightweight, hydrating, and packed with gentle curl-loving ingredients like coconut, aloe vera, avocado and mallow – ideal for your little one’s curls.

2. Stick to a simple routine.

Vacations are for relaxing, not spending hours on hair care. Stick to a quick, fuss-free routine:

1) Cleanse: Apply the Super Shampoo to wet hair and massage gently into a lather. Rinse thoroughly.

2) Condition: Apply the Detangling Conditioner to wet hair and rake through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to start the detangling process.

3) Detangle: Apply the Magic Detangling Spray and detangle with your fingers, a wide-tooth comb or gentle detangling brush. Once detangled, lightly spritz again and gently scrunch with our Microfibre Towel.

4) Scrunch: Apply a small amount of the Leave-In Styler into the palm of your hand, spread between both hands, and then scrunch into wet or damp curls.

Let the curls air-dry or use the Microfibre Towel to gently scrunch — no hairdryer needed!

3. Protect your little one's curls from the elements.

Sun, salt, and chlorine can be harsh on delicate curls. Before heading out:

  • Apply a little Leave-In Styler to hydrate the hair.
  • Use a sun hat or scarf to shield curls from UV damage.
  • Before swimming, wet the hair thoroughly to reduce the amount of chlorine absorbed. After swimming wash the hair with the Super Shampoo and follow with the Conditioner.

4. Take care of your children’s curls in between wash days.

You can use the Detangling Spray and Leave-In Styler on non-wash days too. Simply spritz the hair with the Detangling Spray and comb through. Then scrunch in a little Leave-In Styler to redefine the curls and smooth frizz. Check out our simple kids refresh method here.

5. Embrace the wild curls!

Holidays are the perfect time to let curls roam free. Don’t stress about perfect curl definition every day. Instead, focus on keeping the curls hydrated and happy.

Little Curls is formulated for all different curl types. Whatever your child’s natural curl texture is, they’ll look and feel their best no matter where your travels take you. Make sure to take our Little Curls Starter Pack on your next adventure!
