How to master the Smasters Method
1. Prep your hair
Begin by washing and conditioning your hair with our Cleanser and Conditioner, and apply the Hydrating Creme on soaking wet hair for the perfect styling base.
After this apply your preferred styling products. Whether you opt for the Curl Mousse or the Gel, ensure thorough coverage to all sections of your hair.
2. Part-dry your curls
Leave your hair to air-dry or diffuse until your hair is approximately 50-80% dry. Check out our best diffusing tips here.
3. Apply more product
Wet your hands slightly to prevent frizz, then dispense a small amount of Mousse or Gel onto your palms. Rub the product between your hands, ready to apply it to the hair.
4. Gently glaze and scrunch
Gently smooth the product over your curls, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Try to avoid disrupting curl clumps as you scrunch the product into your hair.
5. Finish drying
Once the additional product is scrunched in, continue to air-dry or diffuse your hair until it is completely dry. This allows the product to set, providing long-lasting hold and definition.
